Oceana, organizzazione non governativa con sede a Bruxelles, nel settore della cura degli oceani e dell'ambiente, cerca uno stagista per un periodo di 4 mesi, da metà agosto a novembre.

Lo stagista svolgerà mansioni quali: ricerca relativa alle nuove policy all'interno dell'Unione Europea, proposte di legge e tutto ciò che riguarda lo sviluppo e l'andamento politico - legislativo dell'Europa, assistenza e creazione di documenti, monitoraggio dei mass media e cura del blog dell'organizzazione.

Per candidarsi occorre conoscere l'inglese in modo eccellente, l'italiano o il francese livello madrelingua.

Lo stage è full time ed ha una retribuzione pari a 700 euro mensili.

OCEANA is looking for a Subsidies Intern in Brussels Office OCEANA is a non-governmental and international environmental organization concerned with the protection of the oceans. On the issues it covers and in the arenas where it works Oceana is a well-known and respected organization for the protection of the marine environment.

Oceana Europe seeks a volunteer to be part of our office in Brussels from Mid August to November (4 months).

Principle responsibilities

- Policy Assist in background research for European Institutions

- Research policy issues and prepare background materials and fact sheets for several European Member States

- Analyze and track policy actions at EU level, legislative proposals, and reports

- Research and track upcoming relevant meetings and reports

- Assist in creation of advocacy and public documents (comment letters, backgrounders, fact sheets, reports)

- Assist communications staff in media relations, outreach, and content generation for Oceana’s website and blog

- Undertake additional projects as requested by senior staff and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

- Native speaker or fluency in English

- Native speaker or fluency in French or Italian, candidates with knowledge of both languages are

Full time position (Fridays until 2 pm)

Oceana will pay a stipend of 700 euro per month.
