images%202.jpgATPD (2010-RO-74),NGO romena e Organizzazione Ospitante nell'ambito del Servizio Volontario Europeo, é alla ricerca di nuovi volontari per un progetto nell'ambito dell'infanzia (educazione non formale, formazione e cultura, organizzazione eventi).

 

Il progetto partirebbe a inizio marzo 2013 (intorno al giorno 5) e durerebbe un anno. Come sempre per lo SVE (18 - 30 anni), il viaggio A/R é rimborsato al 90%, mentre vitto e alloggio sono pagati in toto, cosí come l'assicurazione ed un corso base della lingua locale. Previsto anche un pocket money mensile. 

 

Se interessati, inviateci cv, motivation letter specifica (entrambi in inglese e su due file di testo distini) ed una vostra foto (su file immagine) attraverso l'apposito form entro il 4 giugno. Nella lettera motivazionale spiegate bene perché volete fare l'EVS (European Voluntary Service), perché vorreste fare volontariato all'estero, quali sono i motivi che vi spingolo a far domanda per questo progetto in particolare e perché sareste il candidato ideale. 

 

Inutile inviare lettere motivazionali di poche righe e dove non sono specificate dettagliatamente le ragioni che vi spingono a far domanda per questo progetto: senza forti motivazioni la HO non vi prenderebbe in considerazione, quindi fate attenzione! Solo le candidature complete saranno prese in considerazione.

PROJECT ENVIRONMENT

This EVS project is based in Sannicolau mare, a city located in the western part or Romania. There are about 15.000 people living in Sannicolau Mare, most of them ethnic Romanians and Ortodox Christians. The city is situated in the The West Plains, and thus it has good environmental conditions for agriculture - which is the most developed economic activity in the whole region. Sannicolau Mare has characteristics of continental climate, with hot summers and mild winters. Sannicolau Mare is situated on a distance of 60 km from Timisoara (one of the biggest cities in Romania), while the border with Serbia and Hungary is just 20 km away. There are very good bus connections between Sannicolau Mare and Timisoara. Sannicolau Mare is a city with rich cultural and sport life, compared to other cities in Romania. It has cultural institutions, sports hall, football stadium and other facilities. In September the city celebrates the days of the city, with a big festival. There are a number of other events taking place during the year, including sports tournaments as well. Regarding education, Sannicolau Mare has 1 high schools and w primary schools, plus a bigger number of primary schools in the surrounding villages. Sannicolau mare does not have any public transportation and everything in the city is easily reachable by foot. The volunteers will live in an area with many shops and close to city's open market, where cheap food products can be found. There are a number of cafe bars and clubs located in the city as well. ATPD has its main office in Sannicolau Mare. Neverthelles, ATPD is implementing projects and activities on a international level as well.

 

VOLUNTEERS' TASKS:

The purpose of this term is the completion, in a structured manner, of the following tasks: In the framework of kindergardens and primary schools from Sannicolau Mare, DUdestii Noi, Dudestii Vechi and Cenad, the EVS volunteers will: - organise festivities - facilitate workshops in: dance,painting, music, and theatre; moulding; origami; quilling - develop websites for kindergardensand schools in the Timis County; - promote, through a local magazine, the parents' involvment in the upbringing of children This project is focused on providing non-formal education opportunities to children and young people from Romania. The specific topics of the activities depend on the personal preferences, knowledge and experience of the volunteers. Still, the intention is to organize different types of activities in the fields of arts, culture, language courses, use of computers, sports, theatre, media, and others suggested by the volunteers. WORK SCHEDULE The volunteering activities for this term will be structured as following: - 7 hours/ day, 5 days a week - Saturdays and Sundays will be free (thevolunteers, together with the hosting organization, have the possibility ofreconfiguration, so that the two free days can be moved) - Two days of vacation for each month ofthe term.

 

ACCOMODATION AND ALLOWANCE

We will ensure for the EVS volunteers: - accommodation in rented living quartersin Sannicolau Mare (2 persons per room), with access to shared spaces likebathroom, kitchen, hallway (equipped with furniture, dishes etc.) - 60 euros per month per volunteerallowance, as well as, if necessary, an extra allowance of 40 euros per monthper volunteer for personal expenses; - 3 meals per day, in the shape of subscriptions to a cafeteria or a fixed amount of cash that would cover thebuying and preparing expenses for the 3 meals/day; - free access to ICT and internet services

 

VOLUNTEERS' PROFILE

We will welcome candidates with these characteristics: - 18-30 years old; - strong motivation and willingness to learn; - availability to partake in the whole setof activities (preparation, deployment and evaluation); - economical difficulties: young people unemployed for more than 12 consecutive months and with a difficult material condition

 

HOST ORGANISATION

The Cross Border Development Association (ATPD) is a non goverrnarnmental, non profit organization, , founded in 2004, based in the city Sânnicolau Mare, Timi? County. Together with its partners, ATPD wants to meet the various problems of the Western part of Romania through community development projects, economic development, development of IT sector, combating intolerance and xenophobia among the population. . "We have many talents but more ideas" is the formula by which we act also taking into account three criteria necessary for a sustainable development of our community: awareness of community resources and the effective use of their increased capacity to attract outside resources; promotion of national image and international community. Our mission border Pro Development is : facilitating the process of community development in the western part of Romania and the purpose of the association is to support and accelerate the transformation of community aspirations into socio-economic realities.

 

Objectives of the ATPD:

1. Local community should acknowledge the local development potential by using more efficient natural, financial and human resources;

2. Increase of the capacity of attracting extra-community resources;

3. Promote the areas with an image deficit problem;

4. Building a natural environment capable of supporting a diverse economy through ecology based projects;

5. Support the areas with a touristic potential from western Romania;

6. Voice the citizen's involvement in the decisional process;

7. Increase quality of the local educational services;

8. Help and facilitate implement reform in local public administration.
