"Basket Europe": Cercasi volontario per uno SVE di 1 anno a Meyssac sul tema del basket. Ultimo giorno per candidarsi

Basket Europe è il titolo di un progetto del Servizio Volontario Europeo che prenderá il via a settembre 2012 a Meyssac, Francia e avrà la durata di 1 anno.

 

L'Organizzazione Coordinatrice di questo progetto è la Dynamic Basket Lot Corrèze e accoglierà presso la propria sede 2 volontari (di nazionalità italiana e tedesca) per un progetto legato al mondo sportivo e in particolare al basket.

I volontari avranno tutti i lunedi liberi, e in genere lavoreranno mezza giornata. Saranno supportati da un direttore tecnico e istruiti per diventare allenatori a tutti gli effetti ed insegnare a giocare a ragazzi dai 7 ai 18 anni

Requisiti:

- età 18-30

- passione per lo sport 

- conocenza delle regole del basket

- preceenti esperienze sportive o capacità di gioco

- conoscenza del francese (non è richiesta un'elevata conocenza della lingua) 

 

Come sempre per lo SVE (18 - 30 anni), il viaggio A/R é rimborsato al 90%, mentre vitto e alloggio sono pagati in toto, cosí come l'assicurazione. Previsto anche un pocket money mensile ed un breve corso di lingua locale.

Per candidarsi con noi come Organizzazione di Invio è necessario essere tesserati con l'Associazione Scambieuropei. Il tesseramento, che prevede una quota pari a 40 euro, fornirà una serie di servizi non solo legati al progetto in questione.

 

 

DI SEGUITO LA DESCRIZIONE DEL PROGETTO

PROJECT ENVIRONMENT

Volunteers come from varied social classes. Most ot the time, they are players’ parents. They live in rural areas. Their objectives are the club reputation, a good level of basketball training, quite in line with the level offered in urban areas. They want to experience exciting moments. Training: players are between 7 and 18 years old, from different social classes. The gap in playing level is the main issue to be solved. We focus on youth training.

 

PROPOSED ACTIVITIES FOR EVS VOLUNTEERS

An employee will take care of the volunteers. His objective will be to teach them how to coach basketball. They will accompany him/her in the course of his/her missions within federal basketball bodies at regional level.

They will help to organize various club events:

„h Coach Conference. Communication, preparation of the promotional brochure, welcoming the coaches attending the conference as well as the speakers.

„h International Tournament. Identification of potential teams, preparation of the promotional brochure, organisation on the sportive side, welcoming the teams.

„h Mini-basketball¡¨ tournaments: Identification of potential teams, preparation of the promotional brochure, organisation on the sportive side, welcoming the teams, minibasketball activities.

 

They will also particpate to the organisation of all the extra-basketball events: bingo, festive dinners, Belote tournament¡Ketc. They will have to organise a basketball or extra basketball event in relation with their country or club habits. They also will attend a linguistic course supplied by a local organization.

 

The club will take in charge:

„h expenses relating to the federal coach training.

„h expenses relating to the linguistic course.

„h Lunches except for school holiday and week-ends.

„h Search for accommodation.

„h Travel expenses during working hours according to the applicable scale.

 

VOLUNTEER PROFILES AND RECRUITMENT PROCESS

We are looking for trainees interested in playing basketball, whether they're girls or boys. We don’t have any preference concerning the sending body.

 

RISK PREVENTION PROTECTION AND SAFETY

A mentor, a club employee, will be assigned to each volunteer. They will work closely together on coaching. On the event organisation side, as employees work on the preparation, the volunteers wil continue to monitor the EVS volunteers. During the event, the EVS volunteers will join an organisating team. Concerning daily life, out of the club life (admnistrative/legal procedures, emergencies, food, etc).There will be one out of three volunteers (same gender) available to assist the ESV volunteers. At the beginning of the EVS, they will be assisted by a person speaking English to make sure that they fully understand the instructions. EVS volunteers will be housed in individual flats (like a studio flat) with kitchen complying with all required French security standards. Lunches will take place near the flat in a secondary school and on dinners, breakasts and meals as well as on week-ends and school holiday they will eat at their flat. The association will make sure their meals are healthy. There are 22 games in a year (on week ends), coaching of these games is part of the coach training. The EVS volunteers will work in pairs and assist each other. As required by French law, EVS volunteers will have one compensatory day on working days. We live in a totally secure rural area.
