L'associazione Scambieuropei è alla ricerca di 7 partecipanti più un group leader per questo significativo progetto dal titolo "Pangea of Democracy"

Descrizione progetto In XXI century almost every human being may say: „I live in democracy“. 112 countries all over the world, including every EU country, have got democratic regime. But do everybody of us really know what the “democracy” is? For a simple, average man it’s just an abstract conception created somewhere in ancient Greece. People used to say, this is political regime, where power belongs to the people – to each of us. But how does it work, that we can rule the country? Do we know how to use this power? Which possibilities does the democracy give to us?The topic of the project is realization of the democracy and its understanding in different countries. We may say that every country of modern Europe is under the authority of democratic regime. Then why political systems of each of this countries are diametrically different from the others, if all of them come from the same Athenian Democracy? Why countries are delegating their rights to the European level? For all those questions we will try to answer during the project. We will also learn how does the EU working.
Scopo del progetto - Promoting democracy among young people. - Improving knowledge about European citizenship in local socialites -Comparing democracy in countries participating in the project - Improving awareness of the young people about democracy and possibilities which it gives to us.
Attività During youth exchange we will use informal learning methodology. Games and activities will create a forum to exchange knowledge and experiences. We will learn by doing – due to many simulations we will try to see the problem from different point of view, young people will build their opinion based on own experience. Sessions will be directed to understanding the democracy and rising active participation of participants. Besides rising awareness the planned effect of the project is to prepare informational brochure about our activity, which will be used to promote results of the project in local society. The project will be implemented in AGRI (very eastern part of Turkey where there are many different cultures, people and a big history…and also the highest mountain of Turkey "Mount Ararat" about 5137 metres) Turkey between 30 June-8 July 2012 with the participation of youngsters from Romania, Poland, Italy, Lithuania and Turkey.
Requisiti: - conoscenza (accettabile per comprendere) della lingua inglese - 18-25 anni (20 % of the whole participants might be between 26-30 years old)- interesse tema scambio.) No limiti per il group leader - interesse tema scambio

Costi I costi di partecipazione sono di 70 euro: 40 euro di tessera scambieuropei 2012 e 30 euro come costo di partecipazione al progetto.
Vitto e alloggio Vitto alloggio e il 70% dei biglietti (aerei e non) per raggiungere il luogo dello scambio sono a carico delle associazioni
Importante: Il rimborso dei biglietti avverrà a seguito della presentazione dei giustificativi di viaggio. Ragazzi è assolutamente importante che conserviate tutti i giustificativi di viaggio e le boarding pass dei voli aerei così come i biglietti dei treni o bus perché devono essere consegnati all’associazione non appena arrivati.

Tutti noi sappiamo cosa veramente sia la democrazia? Quanti di noi ne conosce in concreto la storia, ovvero dalla sua nascita in quanto concetto astratto risalente all'antica Grecia fino alla moderna concezione del termine?
